These lovely Hanukah candles are 5 tall and 3/8 inches in diameter, and cast in traditional blue and white. The come in a box of 45. It is interesting to note that the colors blue and white have been Jewish colors for thousands of years. One explanation of this tradition is an ancient text telling that the blue is the color of the sea which is similar to the blue sky which reminds one of Gods heavenly throne. Others believe that the white represent the negative commandments of the Torah, and the blue represent the positive commandments of the Torah. We offer these traditional candles for your celebration.
